The 2017 Colorado Middle All State Choir
February 2-3, 2017
Colorado Convention Center in Downtown Denver
*The event will run concurrently with the Colorado High School All State Choir
*Check-in Thursday morning, Feb. 2nd
*Rehearsals Thursday afternoon and evening, Feb. 2nd and during the day on Friday, Feb. 3rd
*Evening performance on Friday, Feb. 3rd
in the Bellco Theater at the Convention Center (pictured top right)
*Student and/or school is responsible for all costs associated with attendance in All State: $20.00 audition fee, $30.00 participation fee if accepted, transportation, lodging and meals when attending the actual event.
The audition and participation fees go towards CMASC operating costs including: renting the rehearsal and performance venue, paying honoraria, travel and lodging for guest clinicians, paying accompanists and guest musicians, etc.
The CMASC Audition consists of:
*A prepared song (My Country 'Tis of Thee)
*A major scale
*Three melodic echo/aural recall examples
*Two melodic sightsinging examples
